MANNITOL DC

Mannuetose™ Mannitol DC grade is an ideal versatile direct compressible excipient for chewable, fast dissolve, effervescent, oral disintegrating, and regular tablet products largely because of its good flavor, smooth creamy mouth-feel with a pleasant cooling sensation. It has a very low Glycemic Index compared to Sucrose and increases blood glucose to a lesser extent than sucrose. Therefore, it is more suitable to use as a sweetener than sucrose for people with diabetes or preferring lower sugar content. It is non-hygroscopic and chemically stable. Hence, it is suitable and commonly used as a direct compressible binder/filler for tablet products containing moisture-sensitive vitamins, API’s, and other active ingredients.  In addition, it is used in the manufacture of food products, or as an ingredient of confectionaries in the candy, bakery, and other foods. 

NATURAL SUGAR SUBSTITUTION 

IsomO-A is a combination of natural sweetener and a disaccharide carbohydrate composed of glucose and fructose. The glucose and fructose are linked by an alpha-1,6-glycosidic bond (chemical name: 6-0-α-D-glucopyranosyl-D-fructose). IsomO-A is present in natural resources, such as honey and sugarcane extracts and tastes similar to sucrose (table sugar).

IsomO-A has been used as an alternative to sugar in foods in Japan since 1985, in the EU since 2005, in the US since 2006, and in Australia and New Zealand since 2007, and many other countries worldwide. Its physical properties closely resemble those of sucrose, making it easy to use in existing recipes and processes.Like sucrose, IsomO-A can be digested to glucose and fructose.
